Multiethnic Families: Abstract and paper/workshop submissions

There will be approximately 12 slots for paper presentations or interactive workshops led by conference attendees. To be considered as a presenter, submit an abstract of a paper or short description of a proposed interactive workshop in Word format. Include the: title of the paper/workshop; names and affiliations of all contributing authors; mailing address; email address; telephone and fax number for the first author; and a 500 word summary of the paper or workshop. Submit the abstract as an email attachment to multiethnicfamilies@earthlink.net by November 15, 2005. You will be notified whether or not your paper/workshop was accepted for the conference by November 30, 2005. If your paper/workshop is accepted for this conference, we offer the following: up to $400.00 for travel (if not residing on Oahu), waiver of the registration fee and hotel accommodation for 4 nights.

We plan to publish an edited book based on the conference presentations. Therefore, authors of accepted presentations will be asked to submit copies of their complete papers or workshop programs by Feb. 7, 2006. This will also give discussants time to prepare.
