LTG Dolly Parton Imagination Library Program

LTG is piloting Dolly Parton's Imagination Library (IL) in selected communities throughout the state. IL will provide a free, age-appropriate book every month for all registered children between the ages of birth and four living in the following designated areas: Kalihi (Farrington Complex) on O‘ahu; Ka‘ū-Kea‘au-Pāhoa on the Big Island, and Maui County , including Moloka‘i and Lana‘i.

In addition to providing increased opportunities for young children to have a rich literacy environment in their homes, IL will serve as a means of building connections between families with young children and their prospective future elementary schools. It will also increase awareness and use of the FRNCs in pilot schools.

For more information on IL in Hawai‘i, please check the Frequently Asked Questions link below and the List of Registration Sites.
